Wisconsin Dells. For the first time in many years, we made it to the Wisconsin Dells. The place has changed a lot since we were there 10 years ago. We spent two nights in the Skyline Hotel, and visited Noah's Ark and Family Land during our stay.
The original plan for this trip was to spend a half day at the Lake Geneva, spend two days in the Wisconsin Dells and another two days in the Doors County. In the morning of our departure, we decided to give up Doors County idea due to lack of space in our van to place camping gears. As soon as we pack up and headed for Lake Geneva, the rain started falling -- what a draggg... We almost give up riding boat due to rains, but we took the risk and made it to the Lake Geneva. The rain cleared before we got to the place, and it was a great day for a boat ride. Everyone had a chance to drive the boat. We had a visitor from Korea -- Sukgon, a Karen's nephew.
Ryan hesitated to dive in the first place, but he did it well. He beefed up a bit of swimming skills as well.
More fun in the water. Andy wasn't quite ready for most of the rides, but he did enjoy kids area.
Thunder Rapids -- man, why did this place make us carry those damn heavy tubes all the way up to the creek?
Miniature golf -- (Day 1) Sukgon took the first, Cindy took close second, and Ryan took third. (Day 2) Ryan took the first, Sukgon took 2nd and Cindy took third. The winners were presented with $3, $2 and $1 gifts respectively.
We spent a whole day at the Noah's Ark, and this place is GREAT!!
On the second day, we visited the Bays of Dreams waterpark. This place is a bit smaller than the Noah's Ark, but has many water rides that everyone can enjoy.
Bumper boat -- Cindy learned to ride by herself.
Karen riding water slide with Andy at the indoor water park.
Some of the portrait photos at the waterparks.
